TDWI Minneapolis June 14, 2011 Competing on Analytics with Dan Ingle

Dear Minneapolis and St. Paul Area BI and DW Professionals,
In the best-selling business book, Good to Great, author Jim Collins proposes that "Breakthrough results come about by a series of good decisions, diligently executed and accumulated one on top of another.”

Those of us who work in BI and Data Warehousing aspire to transform our organizations to use analytics to achieve breakthrough results and help our organizations out-think and out-execute our competition.

The June 14, TDWI Minneapolis meeting will feature Dan Ingle, who has led this transformation at Kelley Blue Book.  Dan will share how Kelley Blue Book has embraced analytical technologies and techniques to transform the company to a data driven analytics organization. You will learn best practices and pitfalls on the path to virtuosity with data.

This meeting is our opportunity to learn from Dan’s insight, meet other local professionals, swap business cards, share ideas, and exchange technical and career advice while listening to a quality presentation in a vendor-neutral setting, which is the hallmark of TDWI education. Speaker’s Bio
Dan Ingle is currently the Vice President of Analytic Insights & Technology for southern California based Kelley Blue Book, the trusted resource for vehicle valuations and related content.  He has 20 years of experience delivering data-centric technology solutions ranging from B2C financial lending platforms over the web, to client-server based vehicle configuration and valuation systems, to large-scale enterprise data warehouse environments including business intelligence tool suites.  At the core of the majority of his work has been the continuous evolution and growing demand across many businesses in most industries to maximize extremely valuable corporate data assets through the integration of analytic methods and implementation of data management best practices.  Dan holds a degree in Management Information Systems from Ohio University.
