June 9, 2009 Meeting Featuring David Wells

Perspectives on Requirements
Data warehousing and business intelligence professionals understand that requirements are the essential first step of any business intelligence (BI) project.   However, as our speaker Dave Wells writes in the TDWI Series: Ten Mistakes to Avoid When Gathering BI  Requirements, “Getting the right requirements is challenging. A broad scope brings challenges of complexity, uncertainty, and volatility.”
In our June session, you will learn about requirements and requirements gathering from an industry thought leader in Business Intelligence.  David Wells is the former Director of Education for TDWI and highly sought after for keynotes, presentations, consulting and training.  Dave is a fabulous resource and highly rated speaker.  Please plan to attend.
Combined with the networking and conversation that every TDWI chapter meeting offers, this meeting will provide insight for advanced or novice BI professionals including  managers, analysts, developers, or designers.
